This week jurors in the R. Kelly child pornography case sat and watched the 25 minute sex tape that is at the base of R. Kelly’s trial. It is said that they judge gave the orders to draw the window shades of the court room and have the lights dimmed so the jurors could see the entire tape.

R. Kelly sat motionless as the tape played for everyone in the court room. It’s not like the whole world hasn’t see this tape a dozen times each but still many of the jurors were stunned by what they say.

R. Kelly is charged with 14 accounts of child porn and could serve up to 15 years in prison if he is convicted. This video tape could be the one thing that locks his case for him. It is alleged that the young girl in the video tape was only 13 years at the time. Although the prosecuting attorney is telling the jury that this is a vile man who could lay down and have sexual relations with an under aged girl the defense still holds on to the argument that the man on the tape is not R. Kelly and he is innocent.

In the eyes of the law R. Kelly is innocent until proven guilty so we will just have to wait and see what the jurors have to say about the situation and the case that is founded mostly on this 25 minute video.
