It seems like Ed McMahon has become part of the viscous circle the rest of America seems to be facing. Times are hard and it just goes to show not even the celebrities are safe from financial issues.

Admittedly, McMahon declares that his financial debt is due to his own faults.  He says, with a smile on NBC, that he has a hard time saying “No” to ideas that just seem ‘to good’ to pass up but end up not working out.  Alas, McMahon’s not giving his hopes up!  With generous friends, such as Jay Leno, he’s keeping his chin up.
